On Friday, May 19th, 2017 we rewarded our first winners of the “Teleka Owangule ne EFC” savings campaign that was launched in April.
The awards ceremony was organized by our Marketing team at our Ndeeba branch. Nine customers walked home each with one of the following; a TV set, a Fridge and seven Game Stores gift vouchers.
The rewards were handed over to the customers by the EFC Savings and Other Financial Services Manager Mrs. Tamale Sylvia Stella and the Ag. Manager Ndeeba Branch Mr. Sendagala Edward.
Mrs. Tamale congratulated the winners and also thanked them for their participation. She encouraged them and the entire public to continue saving their money with EFC to stand a chance to win more prizes with the ongoing “teleka owangule ne EFC” savings promotion and also benefit from the attractive interest rates that EFC offers to savers.
Mrs. Tamale urged savers to maintain a strong attitude towards saving and not succumb to pressure and temptations that would cause them to spend their savings. She admitted that saving for the future is not an easy task and this is partly why EFC is rewarding them, for their commitment.
The goal of the Teleka Owangule savings promotion has been to appreciate EFC customers for their loyalty to the institution as EFC makes five years in Uganda. We been having a series of programs this year aimed at appreciating EFC stakeholders for their unwavering support.
In February 2017, we had our various managers meet and reward 15 customers who had exhibited an excellent record in making their loan repayments, and in April we organized a “Health Awareness Camp” for our customers and their children at the Uganda Museum in Kampala. We invited our medical service providers who included AAR, SAS, and Code Dental to provide free medical services as well as first aid training to EFC customers.
This time we are rewarding our savers. The campaign is still ongoing and we have plenty of prizes to give away.
